Frequently Asked Questions
Window Tint Basics
What are the benefits of window tinting?
Tinting blocks heat and UV rays, adds privacy, reduces glare, protects interiors from fading, and improves the appearance of your car, home, or office.
What types of film do you offer?
We use top-quality window film that offers more than just a sleek look — it blocks harmful UV rays, reduces interior heat, and protects your space from fading. Choose from our high-performance ceramic film or upgrade to our nano ceramic film for maximum heat rejection and clarity. For more information on our ceramic film: https://www.glasstint.com/en
Is your film legal?
Yes. We stay up-to-date on Georgia’s window tint laws and always make sure your tint is compliant, unless you request a custom install for off-road or show vehicles.
Residential & Commercial Tinting
Will window tint make my home or office darker?
Not necessarily. We offer a wide range of shades and ceramic films that block heat without darkening your space. You can still enjoy natural light while reducing glare.
Does window tint help lower energy bills?
Yes. By blocking solar heat and UV rays, window film reduces the strain on your HVAC system, helping you save on cooling costs.
Automotive Tinting
How long does it take to tint my car?
Most cars take 1.5 to 2 hours. Larger vehicles like SUVs or full trucks may take a bit longer.
Will there be bubbles or streaks?
No. Our installers are certified and experienced. Any minor haze or water bubbles will disappear during the curing process, which typically takes 3–7 days.
How soon can I roll down my windows after tinting?
We recommend waiting 3–5 days to allow the film to cure fully.
Maintenance & Warranty
How do I clean my tinted windows?
Use a soft cloth and ammonia-free glass cleaner. Avoid sharp objects, abrasive pads, or anything that could damage the film.
Is there a warranty on your tint?
Yes. We provide a lifetime warranty on both the film and the installation for automotive tint. Residential and commercial films may have warranties up to 15 years depending on the product.
